From Beginner to Expert level

Our range of one-day IT user seminars are designed to give delegates the skills they need to increase productivity, and develop their role within the company. These include generic skills, such as word processing and spreadsheets, as well as more specialised skills for employees in specific roles, such as web design and project management.

First impressions count and our range of one day Secretarial Seminars is designed to ensure that front line staff give the right impression from that first important contact. Effective communication skills in writing, telephone techniques and face-to-face all have an impact on business performance and ultimately on profits and long term viability. A small investment in this area can pay dividends.

Where are you going in your career, and do you have the Management Skills to get you there? Our personal development seminars are designed to help you develop the skills that will make you stand out. From Business Writing Skills to Time Management our one day seminars are intended to stimulate new ideas as well as provide the opportunity to learn new skills. There are very few absolutely right answers in the Management world, but after attending one of our seminars you will be better equipped to identify the option that is best for yourself and the particular situation.

When and Where?

We run regular one and two day courses at our training centre in Exeter throughout the year. Courses start at 10am and aim to complete by 5pm. Delegates are provided with a light lunch that is taken in the training centre, and refreshments throughout the day are included.

All delegates also receive a comprehensive course notebook that forms a valuable form of reference back at the office, and an end of course certificate is provided at the end of the day.

For details of when specific courses are planned please refer to our course programme.

The Pitman Promise

We recognise the problems that companies face when trying to find suitable training courses for their staff. For this reason we undertake to deliver any Computer Training Course that has been booked, irrespective of the number of delegates booked onto the course.

Unfortunately we regret that this promise can not be extended to cover secretarial seminars that rely on group interaction for their success.
