Introductory Level Computer Training Course

Length of Course: 40 - 60 hours over approx. 20 Weeks
Aim of Course: To develop basic computing skills, to experience a range of different software applications and to understand the role of Information Technology in today's world
Study Programme: Learners are required to study in the training centre for approx. 2-3 Hours per week. The course will be carried out through the year and learners are free to join at any time.

The study programme may consist of one or more modules with a minimum of 3 modules to gain the CLAiT Certificate or 5 modules for the full CLAiT Diploma.  Learners are free to choose which modules they wish to complete and may take a break between modules if they wish, while studying a module however they are committed to working continuously.  Failure to attend classes for 4 consecutive weeks will result in withdrawal from the whole course, unless the break has been agreed in advance with the course tutor.

Suitable for: Anyone with little or no computer knowledge who wishes to gain a sound understanding of this modern technology.

The course comprises 3 or 5 modules delivered over a period of approx. 20 weeks.  In each 3 hour weekly lesson learners are guided through the course material by our experienced staff who are always available to provide individual help and assistance when the going gets tough.
