Train to Gain Flexibilities

Eligibility

Train to Gain Flexibilities are available to all learners who are employed by SME Companies (less than 250 employees) or are registered with the Inland Revenue as Self-Employed. Prior qualifications do not count unless they are in the same specialist area as the course of training to be funded under the train to gain scheme.

A+

The Train to Gain A+ Course is designed to enable learners to gain a thorough grounding in Computer Maintenance and Support and gain an Industry Standard Qualification that is widely recognised within the Industry and will assist the learner gain employment within the IT Sector.

The course will be delivered via our unique Online Extra Study Programme supplemented by monthly tutorials at our Training Centre in Exeter.  Delegates will be expected to complete the training in 6 months although this may be extended by the course tutor to take account of individual circumstances.

Exams will be taken on-line at a selected Prometric / Vue Testing Centre.

Network+

The Train to Gain Network+ Course is designed to enable learners to gain a thorough grounding in Computer Network Maintenance and Support and gain an Industry Standard Qualification that is widely recognised within the Industry and will assist the learner gain employment within the IT Sector.

The course will be delivered via our unique Online Extra Study Programme supplemented by monthly tutorials at our Training Centre in Exeter.  Delegates will be expected to complete the training in 3 - 4 months although this may be extended by the course tutor to take account of individual circumstances.

Exams will be taken on-line at a selected Prometric / Vue Testing Centre.

Award in Computerised Accounting

The Train to Gain Award in Computerised is designed to enable learners to gain a thorough grounding in Computerised Accounting and gain a Nationally Recognised Qualification from City & Guilds.

The course will be delivered at our Exeter Training Centre using our unique flexible learning system allowing learners to study at their own pace.  Delegates will be expected to complete the training in 3 - 4 weeks although this may be extended by the course tutor to take account of individual circumstances and the timing of exams.

Based on the use of Sage Line 50 v12 this training provides a valuable grounding in book keeping and will assist learners gain employment within the business accounting sector.
